Project Update 1

This first update is detailing the first two initial drawings of my prosthetic, as well as my experience learning Autodesk AutoCAD, a piece of software that's used to create 2D/3D models. The design process started out in a very basic manner, where I drew the hand in 5 parts; fingers, palm, wrist, the upper, and lower arm. You can see the cohesive original design and each of it's individual components in the first seven images, while images 8-13 show the second revision and all if it's individual components. The final images for each design is the 3D version of both designs. This is a relatively early design, and it's the first of several steps away from becoming a fully fledged product that's gone through regulation and approval for manufacturing.
