- An Ableton Push 2 MIDI controller

- A Novation Launchpad MIDI controller

- A Korg Kaoss KP3 touchscreen MIDI controller

- A Yamaha DTK920K electronic drumkit

- A Roland SPD-SX drum sampler pad

- A Pioneer CDJ-2000NXS2 CDJ set with a DJM-900NXS2 deck controller

- An Akai MIDI Mix USB mixer controller

- A Shure SM58 microphone

- Finally, a 2018 Apple Macbook Pro. This is on here because it's the most commonly used laptop in the industry.

All the equipment listed here are used in real, live performances, and the studio.

-Drummers use the Roland SPD-SX to augment their drum sound

-Shure microphones (all of them, not just the one I listed) are used very commonly in live shows

-the Pioneer CDJ's are the established, preferred ones for most DJ's and producers

-the Akai keyboard is used by many different artists, as well as the Access Virus Ti2.

-While used less commonly, the Korg Kaoss is used from time to time

-the Novation Launchpad is the most commonly used MIDI controller in live performances, a notable user of the Launchpad would be Lauv.

-The Ableton Push 2 is more commonly used as a studio tool, but there are a few notable exceptions. One of those would be The Glitch Mob during their DJ sets.

-Last but not least, is the Yamaha electronic drumkit. This isn't used very often on it's own, it's usually broken up into parts and used with a traditional drumkit or drumpad.

Quick Definitions:

-MIDI: Musical Instrument Digital Interface. It's the standard connection between digital-based musical instruments, synthesizers, and computers. It was developed in order to have one keyboard's notes play on another synthesizer.

-CDJ/Mixer Panel: A CDJ is a specialized music player that can play audio files from CD's (hence the name), USB drives, and microSD cards. The mixer panel is between both CDJ's in order to combine both audio sources into one cohesive sound.

-DAW: DAW (Digital Audio Workstation) is a piece of software used in order to create music. The most commonly used programs are listed on "Where do I go to learn about Audio Production?".

-Synthesizer: A electronic music instrument that generates audio signals, which are then converted to sound. Many synths look like a keyboard, but some have looked like flutes, or even based off of natural sound waves.
